LaMoure Drug has deep roots in the community. The original drug store was Voegeli Brothers Drug in 1883 and was located at 27 Center Avenue. The ownership and name changed a few times throughout the years but it remained a cornerstone in LaMoure. More recently, the store was owned by Walter Spiese, who took ownership in 1976. In 2020, the business passed to the current owner, Alicia Lauf.
Alicia graduated from pharmacy school in 2008. She spent time working in a variety of large and small locations and felt that the small-town service and care provided at LaMoure Drug was unmatched by any other place she had experienced. When she took over the store, she made it her goal to continue to provide quality care and service to her community.
LaMoure Drug offers a 1 stop shopping experience. Beyond the traditional pharmacy items, their customers can find anything from gifts to greeting cards to household items and so much more. They have a full line of Over-the-Counter (OTC) products from vitamins and lotions, baby items, walkers and canes, etc. and their familiar, friendly staff members at the counter are ready to take care of all of your prescription needs.
Alicia and her team at LaMoure Drug, make it their mission to greet each patient and customer with a smile and make sure they are well cared for.
